PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the noise caused by torque ripples when a motor is accelerated and decelerated and to improve the efficiency of the motor when the motor is rotated at a high speed, by respectively supplying electric currents having different waveforms to the different phases of motor coils in accordance with the acceleration and deceleration of the motor when the motor is driven. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 10 discriminates the acceleration and deceleration of a motor by measuring the present speed of the motor. When the discriminated result indicates the acceleration, the microcomputer 10 reads the current waveform which is in conformity with the speed of the motor from a current waveform table stored in the microcomputer 10 and sends the waveform to a current control circuit section 30. When the motor is in deceleration, the microcomputer 10 sends the waveform which is in conformity with the speed of the motor to the circuit section 30. The circuit section 30 respectively supplies electric currents having different waveforms to different phases A, B, and C of motor coils by impressing the waveform upon an inverter circuit section 20. Therefore, the noise caused by torque ripples when the motor is accelerated and decelerated can be reduced, and the efficiency of the motor when the motor is rotated at a high speed can be improved. |
