PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce magnetic data with high accuracy, without any limit in the constitution of an amplifier and sacrificing the characteristics of an equalizer and a band pass filter. SOLUTION: The magnetic data reproducing device 1 is provided with a magnetic head 11 for reading out a data signal from a film 10, the EQ(equalizer) 13 for executing integration processing for the data signal and a waveform shaping circuit 15 for detecting the rising or falling edge of the waveform of the data signal after having the integration processing, by the fact that a level is displaced from a peak byΔV, to reverse output at the timing of the detection of the edge.
