PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make in the data reliability of a nonvolatile memory not lowered even when the nonvolatile memory is used exceeding its hold period, and it use to for a long period, by reriting a part or the whole of data in the nonvolatile memory when a battery is replaced with new one. SOLUTION: When the battery 17a, which in used up is replaced with a new battery 17a, a microcomputer 11 starts processing from a reset start in response to the mounting of the battery 17a. In this case, it is judged in a start condition judging process that the microcomputer is started not by SW operation after the device 1 is initialized. Then, a rewriting process for the operation data in the nonvolatile memory 12 which is performed only at the start after the replacement of the battery 17a is performed and a STOP mode is entered, so that SW operation is expected. Consequently, since the STOP mode is entered temporarily without fail, the equipment is not nuintentionally operated owing to the transmission of control data right after the battery 17a is replaced. |
