<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp illuminator with a remote control function so that a remote controller can be surely operated even when the remote controller is operated immediately after the fluorescent lamp is lighted or at the time of low temperature. SOLUTION: A fluorescent lamp illuminator 1 with a remote control function includes a receiver 4 attached to an illuminator main body 3 having a fluorescent lamp 2 as a light source, and also includes a transmitter 5 provided in the receiver 4 for the purpose of transmitting infrared rays. In this case, the transmitter 5 is so constituted as to transmit infrared rays having a luminescence center wavelength of 870 to 890 nm, and a light reception window of the receiver 4 is provided with an optical filter for mostly intercepting light having a wavelength other than that of 860 to 900 nm.</p> |
