PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high-dignity stripe shaped fluorescent film parallel to a slot array without meandering by rotating a slot of a shadow mask in a given angle by a correction lens having a complex curved face around a slot center as an axis when forming the fluorescent film by exposure. SOLUTION: A rotation angleθ1 of a slot 12 is determined by a function with a horizontal axis direction component form a mask porous area center being as a parameter. With this structure, when light transmitting a slot 12 of a shadow mask 2 after passing a correction lens reaches a panel inside, it has a rotational component ofθ1 with respect to vertical direction. However, the slot 12 of the shadow mask 2 is rotated by an angle ofθ1 in reverse direction in advance, and thereby the light reaching the inner face of the panel 1 and the shadow mask transmission light can be corrected, and a high-dignity fluorescent film can be formed.
