发明名称 IMAGE ACCEPTING LAYER USED FOR NON-IMPACT PRINTING
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable printing to be effected for a long working time, to decrease base fog and to decrease the amt. of an ink remaining after wiping in an offset printing machine by forming a specified image accepting layer containing a hydrophilic binder, TiO2 particles having a specified average particle size and a matting agent on a base body. SOLUTION: The image accepting element to be used for nonimpact printing consists of a base body and an image accepting layer containing a hydrophilic binder, TiO2 particles having 0.1 to 1μm average particle size and a matting agent formed on the base body. This layer is crosslinked with a compd. selected from hydrolyzed tetramethylsilicates and contains TiO2 particles and the hydrophilic binder by 2.0 to 20 ratio of TiO2 /binder. The average surface roughness Rt of the image accepting layer of the image accepting element satisfies Ra /Rt >=0.080. A lithographic printing plate is produced on the image accepting element by a nonimpact printing means using dry toner particles.
