A method for preparing a mixture of animal feeds for production of omega-3 eggs (omega eggs) based on a mixture of feeds rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids and the addition of vitamin E and a natural antioxidant from thyme flour. This invention describes the production of eggs enriched in omega-3 type polyunsaturated fatty acids based on a specific mixture of animal feeds. The method is characterised in that it uses an antioxidant of plant origin (natural). It is applied to the production (creation) of eggs rich in polyunsaturates (natural). It is applied to the production (creation) of eggs rich in omega-3 type polyunsaturated fatty acids for the purpose of achieving, primarily, a special smell and taste in the egg at the same time as the longest preservation of the egg. Thus these eggs are more attractive and desirable to consumers.
