PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VSC(voltage source converted) which has the structure of connecting a point between current valves on phase terminals to a DC or an AC voltage network with the opposite sides of the phase terminals connected to the pole conductor and which enables its inductance and a required space to be reduced. SOLUTION: Each current valve 7, 10 of a phase terminal is formed at least as a stack 20, 21 with a plurality of units 22 made up of turn-off semiconductor elements and rectifying members stacked each other. The phase terminal 4 is structured by a ribbon cable system, the stacks 20, 21 are arranged in a short distance d so as to run parallel in pair in the front-to-rear direction and cooling plates 23 made of a conductive material connected in series to the units 22 are arranged between the units 22. |
