PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lithium from depositing even during excessing charging/ discharging or high voltage impression, improve pressure-resistance of a battery, and eliminate local heat generation to improve reliability, by coating electric insulating material inside a positive can and moderating concentration movement of lithium. SOLUTION: Electric insulating material 6 is coated inside a positive electrode can 5 except a part where positive electrode 4 is placed, and they are depressured, heated, and dried. The positive electrode 4 is integrated with the positive electrode can 5 by using a conductive resin adhesive in which carbon is a conductive filler and by adhering them with the surface on which electric insulating material 6 is coated, and they are depressured, heated, and dried. The electric insulating material 6 is adjusted by solving rubber-elastic, and butyl-rubber-containing insulating material and asphalt pitch in organic solvent. This structure of a positive electrode can is applied to a nonaqueous lithium secondary battery containing electrode active material in which the amount of the lithium which is stored in at least one of the negative electrode and the positive electrode is more than 250 mAh/g. |
