摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a transmission amount per unit time by compressing image data by compressibility respectively set for respective plural ranges, expanding the compressed image data by an expansion rate respectively set for the respective plural ranges and restoring them. SOLUTION: A compression processor 14 performs a compression processing by a low compressibility and generates low compression data as the image data pertinent to a center part. For the low compressibility there, the compressibility capable of maintaining image quality requested at the time of displaying image at a display device 20 is used. Also, the processor 14 generates high compressibility data by the compressibility higher than the compressibility used for the compression processing to the center part for the image data pertinent to a peripheral part. An expansion processor 18 performs an expansion processing by the expansion rate corresponding to the compression processing in the processor 14 for the low compression data. The similar processing is performed for the high compression data as well and the image data are generated. Thus, for the center part of the images including important contents, high image quality is obtained.
