PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check the operational reliability of antenna branch well by setting the relationship and the ratio between a power level supplied into an antenna branch and the reflection power level. SOLUTION: Power generated from an RF high frequency amplifier 1 is passed through a directional coupler 2 for bidirectional measurement, and a band-pass filter 3 and applied sequentially, through a switch 4, to a plurality of antennas A1 -An before being radiated. Power levels proportional to the forward wave and the returning wave extracted through the coupler 2 are inputted from respective output terminals 2a, 2b to a rectifier 5 where the power levels are rectified specifically to produce DC voltages proportional to respective power levels. A quotient forming stage 6 determines the voltage standing wave ratio VSWR of each antenna A1-An utilizing the DC voltage thus produced to generate GO/NO-GO information (quality signal) of the antenna A1-An. A controller 7 stores the quality signal and controls the switch 4 as a function of the quality signal to switch an amplifier 1 to an antenna having an appropriate matching. |
