PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight electromagnetic cooking plate which enables electromagnetic cooking and which is capable of being used for a long period and which is excellent in heat retaining properties. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic cooking plate comprises a plate substrate 2 made of crystallized glass or pottery, a glaze 3 coating the surface of the plate substrate 2, and a silver coating 4 burned on the bottom portion of the plate substrate 2. The plate substrate 2 preferably hasβ-spodumene crystals. The silver coating 4 is preferably formed by burning silver paste comprising a metal silver powder, a glass frit and a binder on the plate substrate 2. |
