PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make accurate zooming in consideration of an error caused by temperature without using a complex mechanism by obtaining the correction pulses of the drive quantity of a focus lens based on the measured temperature, and driving a focus lens group. SOLUTION: The distance to an object is measured by a range finding section 41, and feed pulse data OBJ in response to the distance to the object are obtained by a feed quantity arithmetic means 42. Temperature is measured by a thermometer 43, the shrinkage quantity of a lens frame is obtained by the shrinkage quantity calculating means 44 of the lens frame, and the pulse number data TP required to increase or decrease the feed quantity are obtained. A feed quantity calculating means 45 receives the zooming pint adjusting pulse data ZPZ corresponding to a zoom and the adjusting pulse data FCP for the total group shift from an EEPROM 53, adds these data to the feed pulse data OBJ and pulse number data TP, and obtains feed pulses LP and outputs them to a feed quantity control means 46. |
