PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple coated wire pressure contact structure, easy to manufacture, without increasing the inserting force of a coated wire into a slit. SOLUTION: A pressure contact structure for a coated wire 16 comprises a pressure contact slit 13 open to the outer periphery of a conductive terminal plate 12 and passed through both faces of the terminal plate 12 to insert the coated wire 16 along a passing-through direction and a pair of inclined guide walls 15a, 15b ranging to the inner walls 14a, 14b opposing each other of the pressure contact slit 13 and expanded to the outer periphery of the terminal plate 12 to form an opening from which the coated wire 16 is guided into the pressure contact slit 13.
