Assembly, by welding, of at least two sheet metal components (1, 2) comprises, prior to the welding operation, the positioning of the components with respect to each other so a preassembly of the components (1, 2) is realised in this position by means of an assembly system of the type with or without screwing.. The assembly system co-operates with at least one aperture (3, 9) cut across at least one of the components (1, 2) serving as a reference mark for the positioning of the components (1, 2). An element of coachwork for use with this method is also claimed. |
