PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture having a lighting device-housing part having a generally square plane projecting surface and a generally rectrangularly bottomed lighting device and capable of a reduction in size. SOLUTION: This lighting fixture is provided with a lighting device 2 having substantially rectangular bottom surface, a top surface having a long side shorter than that of the bottom surface, and an installing part interposed near both the ends of the bottom surface in the longitudinal direction and applying lighting control to an illuminating load, and a lighting device-housing part for housing and interposing the lighting device 2 and having a generally square plane projecting surface. In the lighting device 2, the long side of the bottom surface substantially runs along the diagonal line of the plane projecting surface of the lighting device-housing part 1. The bottom surface is interposed by substantially crossing the plane projecting surface of the lighting device-housing part 1 at right angles. |
