Telemetry system with transmitter and clock

The system includes a telemetry transmitter (201) with at least a sensor (202) for determining if a person is present. A clock is provided which is preferably an alarm clock used to indicate acoustically the signal received from the sensor. Preferably, the alarm clock generates a different signal for indicating the signal received from sensor than the alarm signal. The sensor is either a movement detector or a light barrier. A switch is provided at the alarm clock to switch off or to suppress the alarm signal triggered by the signal received from the sensor.
