The food processor cover (4) is in the form of a flat disc (5), at a short distance above the processor rotary chopping or cutting disc (3) and provided with an eccentric feed opening (6). The feed opening may be provided at the bottom of a feed chute (8) extending at an angle to the normal to the disc, and provided with a delivery funnel (10) at its top end. The cross- section of the feed chute may increase in the direction of the feed opening.
