<p>A method and an assembly for verifying a position of a worktable which has been moved a predetermined distance by means of a moving device, wherein a verification device comprising a reference element is detachably connected to the worktable. The position of the reference element is determined and compared with the expected position of the reference element. The verification device comprises a support which can be detachably coupled to the worktable, with respect to which the reference element can be moved, whereby, before the position of the reference element is determined, the reference element is moved with respect to the support over a verification distance, which is identical, albeit in opposite direction, to the distance over which the worktable has been moved by means of the moving device.</p> |
