A method and apparatus for providing a panned tilted or zoomed image in a virtual studio apparatus by providing an electronic image controller separate from the pan, tilt or optical zoom control of the camera thereby allowing the camera field of view to remain the same to maintain system lock whilst the transmitted or recorded image is further panned, tilted or zoomed.
