<p>The present invention can be used to create compact and small-size powerful laser systems. The laser generating unit comprises a housing (1), an optical resonator including an electrode system (2, 4), and acoustic and output mirrors (11). The inventive laser is characterized in that the resonator axis is perpendicular to the electrode plane, which consists of a series of alternately arranged fixed (2) and rotating (4) electrodes. The fixed electrodes (2) are mounted on the body (1). The fixed and rotating discs present apertures (3, 9) on one axis. The fixed electrodes (2) have a cooling system (10). The resonator can be designed with a plurality of passages. In that case, the passage axes of the resonator coincide with the aperture axis provided on the fixed electrodes. The rotating electrodes enable a more intensive heat transfer of the gas mixture to the walls, thereby ensuring a higher laser yield.</p> |
