Metal extraction, e.g. silver@, gold@ and platinum@

摘要

Extracting native metals from rock devoid of useful minerals comprises: (a) placing rock, possible first coarsely broken up, into a bath of liquid where it is shattered by electromagnetic shock waves; (b) separating the coarse material and again subjecting to the shattering process, while the remaining fine material is removed; (c) preliminarily treating this material in thinned acid, and subjecting to a further treatment with shock waves; (d) magnetically separating magnetic particles of non-noble metals; and (e) collecting the remaining particles of noble metals. Also claimed is an apparatus for the above process.
