The circuit includes a switch transistor (T1) which is connected to a first operation voltage (B1). A scanning coil (L1) with a leakage resistance (Rv) and a tangent capacitor are provided. A sawtooth voltage (Vk) is coupled in the path of the scan current (ia) via an active circuit (L4,L2,T2,D2,C2). The sawtooth voltage compensates the voltage drop (Uv) at the leakage resistance. Preferably, the sawtooth voltage is coupled in via the capacitor. Components (C4,L5,T2,D2,L4) are provided which supply a constant current (i4) to the capacitor and which discharge the capacitor.
