<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the tactile display device having a high operability and a good recognition performance. SOLUTION: The device consists of tactile pins 4 arranged on a screen 6, optical sensors 7 and 8, tactile pin driving circuits and a CPU which controls the entire operations. A tactile display device 1 is constituted with the pins 4 which are arranged in a matrix manner. The device 1 is installed on the screen 6 and the optical sensors detect the coordinates of the device 1 The tactile pin driving circuits drive the pins 4 to a prescribed state corresponding to the picture displayed on the screen 6. Thus, the position of the device 1 on the display screen is operated, the driving condition of the pins 4 is tactile recognized by fingers.hands and the picture is retrieved and recognized. The device 1 is constituted similarly to a mouse. The driving condition of the pins 4 is made in a form of projection and recess/vibration.</p> |
