Video signal formation system

The system includes signal processing units for the formation of single video input signals. The signal processing units are allocated to a video input signal and the signal processing characteristics can be preset using operation elements. Selection elements are provided for selecting a video signal which is processed in one of the processing units. Additional selection switches are provided to which one of the video signals is allocated. A storage unit is allocated to the selection switches and provided for the storage of processing characteristics. A control unit transmits the stored processing characteristics to the signal processing unit which is allocated to the video input signal which is allocated to the additional selection element when an additional selection element is operated.
