<p>An IrDA modulation/demodulation integrated circuit device mounted on a portable telephone set. The integrated circuit device generates a clock by converting the frequency of the clock used by a baseband integrated circuit device which processes baseband signals by means of a PLL circuit (5) by inputting the clock. Therefore, the cost of the portable telephone set can be reduced, because the number of oscillators mounted on the telephone set can be reduced. In addition, the area of the substrate of the integrated circuit device can also be reduced.</p> |
