Edge cover for door opening in building wall

The cover has an angled profile with a first flange lying on the wall border and a second flange engaging the door leaf. An inner strip (4) is provided, fastened to the border (5) and covered by one cover flange. The upper side of the inner strip has longitudinally extending toothing (6) which grip with the opposing teeth (7) on the underside of the first flange to reinforce the glue connection between the teeth. The wall flange of the cover has an inwardly extending lip (8) defining a gap (9). The strip can have openings to receive connecting pins for the border.
