Elastic sealing strip with base arm containing incisions

One side of the base arm (11) has at least one protruding sealing element whilst the other side has a fixture for attaching it to a frame. The profiled sealing strip (10) consists of a continuous length placed around the window pane. The incisions in the base arm are at right angles to the sealing strip's longitudinal direction and are spaced apart over the entire length of the seal. The fixture is in the form of a foot (30) protruding from the base-arm. The incisions are in the part of the base arm containing the foot through part of which they protrude. Two sealing elements protrude from one side of the base arm. One sealing element is tubular (20) with at least one hollow compartment (21,22). One sealing element has at least one sealing lip (23,24) slanting from the tubular sealing body.
