An integrated tripod riser (1) having a plurality of support legs (3, 4, 5) which can be collapsed and nested in a common plane in such a manner that a stand (8) or platform can be integrated directly within the cavity or interior profile formed by the collapsed tripod riser (1) for easy transport of the device. The integrated tripod riser (1) comprises a single center post (2), a first support leg (3) rigidly attached to the center post (2) and second (4) and third (5) support legs rotatable around the center post (2). The integrated tripod riser (1) is provided with a unique center post locking system (13) which enables multiple-height single plane nesting of said legs (3, 4, 5). The integrated stand (8) is retained within the same plane of the nested support legs within the cavity created by the interior profile when the support legs (3, 4, 5) are in the collapsed position. |
