Display card for articles, especially for jewellery, with an anti-theft label associated with a wire retainer

The display card is made from a strip (10) which is folded together round a fold line (12). Between the two parts there is an anti-theft label (20) that forms an aerial. The article (28) is fixed in a slot (18) in the card and has a high resistance metallic wire (32) threaded through it. The wire is put between the two parts of the card and is anchored to the fastener (22) that fixes the two parts together, to form a loop. The fastener has a male part and a female part that clip together.
