<p>Polymerisation of acrylate or metacrylate monomers is processed in the presence of initiators selected from the group containing terc.alkylestetors of saturated carboxy acids metallated in an alpha-position by an alk. metal, terc.alkoxide of an alk. metal, optionally in a mixture with terc.alcohol and, optionally, in the presence of terc.alkoxide of an alk. metal as an polymerisation active-centres stabiliser in a medium of solvent selected from the group being composed of aromatic hydrocarbon, cyclic ether or a mixture thereof, at a temperature ranging from -70 to 20 degrees Celsius. Selective hydrolysis of ether- or ester-binding terc.alkoxygroups on the beginnings and/or ends of the polymer chains follows.</p> |
