The present invention relates to a computer mouse pad comprising a mono-layer st ructure material of predetermined thickness having an upper surface of a smooth texture. The upper surface is provided to facilitate an enhanced contact with a mouse roller engagi ng this upper surface, thus facilitating an unrestricted mouse control. The upper surface is a lso capable of absorbing unwanted residues deposited on the upper surface during the use, as a result, preventing residues from being picked up by the roller ball. The pad also compri ses a bottom surface having an unfinished leather-like texture, being capable to securely gri p a working desk-top surface supporting the pad without causing sliding of the pad around the desk-to p surface during the use. The mono-layer structure material is genuine leather, where the upper surface of the leather material is finished and the bottom surface of the leather material is unfinished.
