An arrangement for minimizing common mode interference with the two leads of a circuit carrying a desired signal to be measured or otherwise utilized comprises four coils wound on a common magnetic core, two of the coils being inserted in series one in one and the other in the other of the two leads, the third being connected in series with a capacitor between one lead and a point of fixed potential and the fourth being similarly connected in series with a capacitor between the other lead and a point of fixed potential. As described, input terminals 1, 2 are connected to the signal source. Four substantially identical coils are twisted together and wound on a toroidal core 5 of magnetic tape. Two of the coils are connected together at one end to terminal 1. Of these two coils one is connected to earth at its other end through a capacitor 10 and the other is connected at the corresponding end to terminal 3 connected to an output lead. The other two coils are similarly connected together at one end to terminal 2. One of these two coils is connected to earth at its other end through a capacitor 11 and the other of these two coils is connected at the corresponding end to terminal 4 connected to an output lead. The coils connected to the capacitors 10, 11 present a high impedance to common mode interfering signals and the capacitors 10, 11 are sufficiently large for voltages substantially equal to the common mode interference to be set up across all four coils.
