A method for receiving naphthoquinone pigment-plumbagin out of an in-vitro plant culture of Drosophyllum lusticanicum Link. is commenced by callus preparation out of nodal segments of sterile plants Drosophyllum lusitanicum, L. in the agar medium with addition of auxins. The calluses are subjected to a submerged cultivation in a phytohormone-containing liquid medium and to passaging. The production medium cultivation is followed by a naphthoquinone pigment-plumbagin extraction out of the biomass, by using an organic solvent. Indol-3-butyric acid (IBA) and/or 1-naphtylacetic acid (NAA) are used as auxins. 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) is used as cytokinin. The submerged cultivation of the calluses is processed in the medium low on inorganic nitrogen, calcium and saccharose at a low pH. Toluene is used as the organic solvent.
