A connection between main and branch bus-bars 10h, 10v wherein each bus-bar has a continuous re-entrant T-shaped groove 11, comprises: a retaining member 15 which has a shape to engage a T-shaped groove and is pushed into a groove in the main bus-bar 10 h; a connecting member 31 attached to the retaining member 15 for example by screws 35, the connecting member having an upstanding fixing web 33 for locating the branch bus-bar 10v; and, on each side of the connecting member 31, an angled member 21 attached to the main bus-bar 10h for example by screws 25, arms 23 of the angled members 21 forming between them a retainer for the branch bus-bar 10v, each angled member being attached to the branching bus-bar for example by screws 24,26. A closing member 29 may be attached to the branch bus-bar 10v by screws 36. An insulating cover 40 has offset openings to receive the angled arms 23. |
