In a fulling process, there is at least one panel supported on its upper and lower side in an holding area and then is subjected to fulling on the edge region thereof. The panel is, in the holding area, perpendicularly pressed up to 10 percent of its thickness and is prevented, in the fulling area, from buckling. Fulling is processed in particular phases by application of multiplied strokes of a fulling tool. The number of strokes in the first phase is 20 percent higher than in the second one. From 40 to 45 strokes altogether is applied during the fulling process. Preliminary fulling is carried out over a depth of approximately 6 to 8 and the second fulling up to 11 centimetres. The fulling device consists of at least one fulling tool and a device for securing and moving the mineral fibre panel (11). This device is arranged in the holding area above and below the panel (11) and contains belts (13, 15). The fulling unit, comprising fulling tools (29, 30) used for pre-fulling and panel (11) fulling in the fulling region (23) that is situated by the holding area, is directed transversely to a direction of the panel (11) movement. Above and below the fulling region (23), there are guides (25, 27) with reinforcement (26, 28). The fulling device (29, 30) has a stamp (32) with a convex surface (31).
|
