Phosphate derivatives of 4'-demethylepipodophyllotoxinglucosides are antitumoural substances and derivatives thereof prove good water solubility and posses, in this respect, considerable advantages for being used in the pharmaceutical compositions. Compounds of the formula (V), preparation and required intermediates thereof as well as pharmaceutical compositions them containing are described.
