<p>The valve has one end which is fixed into an aperture in the gas cylinder, a handwheel (2) to open and close the valve, and a pressurised gas outlet. It incorporates a pressure gauge (7) in the handwheel which measures the pressure of the gas inside the cylinder when the valve is open or closed. There is a spindle (10) connected to the valve assembly. It has a feed channel connecting the valve to the gauge and there is a series of seals (14-19) between it and the valve housing.</p> |
