BOTTLE MADE OF POLYESTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle made of polyester, which is excellent in heat resistance and gas barrier property, and also, has transparency and a uniform draw-blowing property. SOLUTION: In this bottle made of polyester, a pre-form wherein polyethylene terephthalate and a polyethylene naphthalate based polymer are mixed in such a manner that the ethylene-2,6-naphthalenedicarboxilate unit may be contained by 13-45 mol%, and a crystal melting heat obtained by fusion-injection-molding the mixture, satisfies the equation -0.58Cn+29<ΔHm<-0.58Cn+43 (in the equation,ΔHm is the crystal melting heat (J/g) of the pre-form, and Cn is the percentage content (mol%) of the ethylene-2,6-naphthalenedicarboxilate unit in the preform.), is draw-blow-molded. By this method, this bottle has a favorable transparency, and a uniform thickness distribution.
