<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record multi-gradational images at high speed and at the same time obtain continuous gradations, by recording multi-gradiational images by a light emission control time in which influences of switching characteristic of the emission of a light-emitting part, and a characteristic proper to a photosensitive material, etc., are corrected by a predetermined method. SOLUTION: One pixel is recorded in multi gradations by a combination of an emission and a non-emission of N emission timings (N is an integer not smaller than 2) of a light-emitting part. An emission control time T(n) of each of the N emission timings wherein (n) is an integer satisfying 0<=n<=N-1 is represented by an equation T(n)=α×2<n> +β(n)+γ(n) whereinαis a coefficient of a positive real number not dependent on the (n),β(n) is a real number satisfyingβ(n-1)>=β(n) with respect to an optional (n) not smaller than 1 and 0.1×α×2N>β(0)>β(N-1)>=0,γ(n) is a real number having an absolute value not larger than (α×2<n> +β(n))/100 to an optional (n). Accordingly, multi- gradational images can be recorded at high speed through a simple control and at the same time continuous gradations are achieved.</p> |
