<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent at low cost a decrease in the performance of a pivot bearing mechanism due to heat. SOLUTION: This vehicular lamp has a pivot 190 made of a synthetic resin, which is interposed between a movable reflector 13 made of a metal with high heat conductivity and a lamp housing 10 made of a synthetic resin with low heat resistance. As a result, the pivot 190 made of the synthetic resin can prevent the heat of a light source bulb located on the movable reflector 13 from being conducted to the lamp housing 10, eliminating the fear that a spherical recess 195 in the bearing 191 of the lamp housing 10 is thermally deformed and melted, resulting in a loose fit between the spherical recess 195 of the bearing 191 and the spherical part 192 of the pivot 190 and hence a decrease in the performance of a pivot bearing mechanism 19. Also, since the synthetic resin which is less heat-resistant and low-cost can be used directly for the lamp housing 10, an increase in cost can be avoided.</p> |
