PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sufficient sealability and prevent deformation of an outer ring at the time of attachment of a bearing by transition-printing liquid seal material made of thermoplastic resin onto a specified position of an inner peripheral side of the core plate, and solidifying the seal material to form a seal layer. SOLUTION: Steel plate and stainless steel plate are circularly punched, followed by pressing to a specified shape to obtain a core plate 11. Afterward, the core plate 11 is transferred to a screen printer 30 by means of a conveyor 20. A screen sheet 31 is lowered, and its opening is so set as to be agreed with a seal layer forming area. Liquid seal material 12a made of thermoplastic resin is supplied onto the screen sheet 31. A squeegee 33 is pressurized, slid, and transferred to a specified position of the core plate 11 through the opening 32. It is then transferred to a dryer. The seal material 12a is heated and solidified to form a lower layer. This operation is repeated to form a three-layered elastic seal layer 12 with specified thickness. The seal can efficiently be manufactured. The seal layer serves as a cushion member for preventing deformation of an outer ring and reduction of true circular degree, and securing sealability. |
