PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new protein consisting of a protein originating from human and having binding capabilities with an active type Rho protein and profilin, and of which gene is useful for the diagnosis, etc., of respiratory tract hypersensitivity, bronchial asthma and acute myelocytic leukemia. SOLUTION: This Rho target protein human mDia has an amino acid sequence expressed by the formula or by the formula in which one or more amino acids are added and/or inserted, and/or one or more amino acids are substituted and/or lost and biding capabilities with an active type Rho protein and profilin, and is a new protein originating from human and having an approximately 150 kDa molecular weight measured by SDS-PAGE, of which gene is positioned at human chromosome 5q 31.2, and useful for diagnosis, etc., of respiratory tract hypersensitivity, bronchial asthma, acute myelocytic leukemia and osteomyelodysplasia. This protein is obtained by performing a PCR of human brain λgt10 cDNA library by using a primer synthesized based on a base sequence of a mouse mDia, and expressing the obtained gene. |
