摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer an image satisfactorily irrespective of a type of an element to be transferred by providing a dielectric release layer formed of self- crosslinkable resin having a specific glass transition temperature on a mold release layer. SOLUTION: In the image transferring electrostatic recording medium 20, a mold release layer 22, and a dielectric release layer 23 made of self- crosslinkable acrylic resin having glass transition temperature of -20 to 100 are sequentially laminated on one surface of a base sheet 21, and a conductive layer 24 is provided on the other surface. The layer 22 prevents thermal fusion bonding to an element to be transferred after transferring to improve releasability in an interface from the release layer. As the layer 23, emulsion crosslinked resin which does not erose a coated film surface of the mold release layer is used with excellent electrostatic recording properties. A surface of the layer 23 is preferably matted. Thus, at the time of slit developing, even if it is sucked to the slit, movement of the medium is not disturbed. Thus, after inorganic or organic fine particles are dispersed in the release layer forming coating liquid, it is applied.
