<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable deciding of a lower rolling reduction eccentric angle and a side rolling reduction eccentric angle by using a specific equation calculating a regularity given to a pass line with a lower or an upper rolling reduction device and side rolling reduction devices under a boundary condition to the removable limit of intermediate rolls from geometrical relation of each roll. SOLUTION: Combination of the eccentric angles of the lower or the upper rolling reduction device 26, 22 and the side rolling reduction devices 30, 32, is decided by using a model equation calculating the regularity affected to the pass line with the lower or the upper rolling device 26, 22 and the side rolling reduction devices 30, 32 under the boundary condition to the movable limit of the first and the second intermediate rolls 14, 16 from the geometrical relation of each roll to obtain the deciding method, by which the pass line become always constant. The model equation expresses the relation between the eccentric angle (x) of the lower or the upper rolling reduction device and the eccentric angle (y) of the side rolling reduction devices, with a hyperbolic curve and the equation, a, b,α, xo, yo are constants. [(x-xo)cosα+(y-yo) sinα]<2> /a<2> -[(y-yo)cosα+(x-xo)sinα]<2> /b<2> =1 is used.</p> |
