摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antimicrobial tile hardly slippery in the use as a floor material and improved in antimicrobial activity and the duration by forming a flux layer composed of a flux glaze containing a ceramic granule on a tile base and forming an antimicrobial glaze layer on the flux layer by fusing. SOLUTION: The antimicrobial tile 10 is obtained by forming the flux layer 12 on the tile base 11 used for porcelain or pottery and forming the antimicrobial glaze layer 13 containing an antimicrobial agent by fusing on the flux layer 12. The flux layer 12 is composed of the flux glaze 16 and the ceramic granule 15 and the glaze 16 are used for joining the tile base 11 to the ceramic granule 15 by fusion, and the layer 12 has ruggedness formed on the surface by the ceramic granule 15. As for the ceramic granule 15, one or more classified granules selected from those ones adjusted to either range of 1.0-1.5 mmϕ, 2.0-2.5 mmϕ, 3.0-4.0 mmϕand 4.0-5.0 mmϕare used. The average thickness of the antimicrobial glaze layer 13 is preferably 50-150μm.
