PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition excellent in lubricating activity, improving lubricating property especially between an aluminum material and a steel, suppressing abrasion, hardly clogging a capillary tube and useful as a cooling medium for an air conditioner, etc., by compounding a base oil consisting of a synthetic oil with a specific component. SOLUTION: (A) A base oil (an oxygen-containing organic compound, a hydrocarbon-based synthetic oil, etc.) consisting of a synthetic oil is compounded with (B) an ether compound of a 3- to 6-valent aliphatic polyalcohol and/or an ether compound of two molecule- or three molecule-condensation product of a 3- to 6-valent aliphatic polyalcohol. The kinetic viscosity of the component B is 5-200 mm<2> /s at 40 deg.C. |
