PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method effectively usable for the structural design or reactional design of textile structural products with excellent shape stability. SOLUTION: A cellulose-based textile structural product is reacted with a dicarboxylic acid and/or tricarboxylic acid followed by acid-base titration of the resultant system to determine the quantity of carboxyl group (COOH), based on the determination, the quantity (x) of the dicarboxylic acid and/or tricarboxylic acid crosslinked with the cellulose is calculated by use of formula I and formula II, and crosslinking efficiency (z) is calculated by use of formula III. Formula I: A=2x+y, Formula II: B=(n-1)x+ny, Formula III: z=100×x/(x+y). A: the quantity of COOH reacted with the cellulose (mmol/kg), B: the quantity of COOH taken into the cellulose (mmol/kg), x: the quantity of the dicarboxylic acid and/or tricarboxylic acid crosslinked as a result of reaction of intramolecular two COOH groups with the cellulose (mmol/kg), y: the quantity of such dicarboxylic acid and/or tricarboxylic acid that intramolecular one COOH group alone is reacted with the cellulose (mmol/kg), n: (n)=1 for the dicarboxylic acid, (n)=2 for the tricarboxylic acid, z: crosslinking efficiency (%). |
