PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably form images of good quality for a long time without maintenance work such as cleaning of a control electrode and the like, by forming image formation particles of a substance which is liquid or easily liquefied and, finely granulated by a feed liquid and charged. SOLUTION: A lower part of a feed body 22 for feeding liquid image formation particles is soaked in an ink 24 of an ink tank 21. The ink 24 is held by a surface tension in a mesh of the feed body and supplied to a part confronting to a control electrode 9 consequent to the rotation of the feed body. The ink 24 flying to an ink particle penetration hole 13 receives a force of an electric field in a direction of a medium 7 from an opposite electrode 6 to which +400 V is impressed, and accordingly is transferred onto the recording medium 7. At this time, a size of the mesh is determined beforehand so as to obtain a proper particle size. Therefore, uniformly charged ink particles of a uniform particle size can be obtained easily, which are not broken in the middle of the fly. Finally, an ink image formed on the recording medium 7 is adsorbed on the recording medium and dried, whereby a final image is obtained. |
