PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a compd. having a perovskite structure at a low cost by forming or rearranging a guest material having a perovskite structure on the surface of a host material having a magnetoplumbite structure as a seed crystal and orienting the crystal faces, etc., of the guest material by utilizing the orientation of the crystal faces, etc., of the host material. SOLUTION: A guest material having a perovskite structure, e.g. BaFe1/2 Nb1/2 O3 , a material forming the guest material by reaction or a material consisting of precursors of the guest material, e.g. BaCO3 , Fe2 O3 and Nb2 O5 is used and the guest material is formed and/or rearranged on the surface of a ferromagnetic host material having a magnetoplumbite crystal structure, e.g. BaFe12 O19 as a seed crystal. The crystal faces or crystallographic axes of the guest material are oriented by utilizing the orientation of the crystal faces or crystallographic axes of the host material. |
